I cringe when I see this headline or other similar kind of headlines all over the web or newspaper because of the financial crisis developing in the US and Europe.  I was reminded once again of the financial crisis that happened in Asia almost 12 years ago. Almost overnight, people lost all their savings and whatever money they invested in Stock and Shares then. The agony of trying to recover what is lost still exist for some, who has not been able to turn things around.

It is aways during time like this that people realised they should not be too dependent on a Sole Income to survive. There are some who venture into some form of business to generate extra income for the families. Some even have 2 jobs just to make ends meet. But, there are many who simply refuse to face reality and “hope” that tomorrow will be a better day !

For those people who are positive in thinking, they may even discover that there are now even more “opportunities” to  make that extra money. See what Dr Tony Tan say about the situation now :

As there are plenty of opportunities found in the web, or newspaper advertisement, it is not lose hope for those who are hungry to achieve a little more in a bad time like this. Some are humble enough to learn from scratch for a job or trade that they knew nothing about. For the more affordable, they take the opportunity to upgrade themselves so that they can justify their existence in the company or the job scope they are doing.

It is also in time like this when we must help each other, including family and friends. There are those who need some form of advices or assistance to move on but does not know how. Listen to their call for help and who knows, you might just become their Mentor for life for pointing them a way to generate that surplus income.
